Policy & Registration
GREAT LIFE Counseling Center services range in private pay pricing from $150/hour-$280/hour, depending on the modality of service, time slot availability, and clinician experience. Full payment of fees or co-payments are due on the day of service.
GREAT LIFE Counseling Center accepts cash, Zelle, money orders or cashier’s checks, and all major credit cards (i.e., Visa, Mastercard, Discover, & American Express). Client guardians & other third party payers are welcome to pay in advance for sessions/services by clicking on the ‘Secure Invoice Payments’ tab and completing the form. When paying through the website or Zelle, please be sure to enter your clinician’s name so the receipt can be forwarded to the correct clinician and the clinician can promptly credit your account.
All GREAT LIFE Counseling Center doctoral level clinicians are credentialed Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and Aetna PPO providers. Prior to an initial GREAT LIFE appointment, clients are responsible for contacting their insurance provider to verify their BCBS PPO and Aetna PPO network coverage or their out-of-network reimbursement rate for “outpatient psychotherapy (CPT code 90837).” Please do not hesitate to email or call your GREAT LIFE clinician regarding questions or concerns about our policies and/or the Simple Practice client portal system.
Out-of-Network Insurance Reimbursements
GREAT LIFE Counseling Center clinicians are out-of-network providers for all insurance carriers, except Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and Aetna PPO. However, clients will be able to access the necessary paperwork (superbills) for insurance reimbursement through their own login to the client portal system of our electronic health records system, Simple Practice.
Depending upon the type of out-of-network coverage purchased by their employer, clients are usually reimbursed at least 50% and as much as 90% of their session fees once they have met their deductible. Prior to initial appointments clients are responsible for contacting their insurance to inquire about their reimbursement rate for outpatient psychotherapy by an out of network provider.
For example:
“Psychotherapy with Patient and/or Family Member” (CPT Code 90837)
by an
“Out of Network Provider”
If you use this terminology, they should be able to provide specific information regarding out of network reimbursement. Please do not hesitate to email or call your clinician regarding any questions or concerns about our policies or paperwork.
Client Portal Registration & HIPPA Privacy Rules
The GREAT LIFE Counseling Center group is administratively supported by the secure, advanced software of its electronic health records system, Simple Practice. All new clients will be required to register with the client portal in order to electronically review and complete forms pertaining to office policies and treatment related consents.
