Introducing MS. TRAN

Tiffany Tran, M.S. is an advanced doctoral practicum fellow who is a dedicated to working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. As a compassionate clinician, Ms. Tran approaches therapy with warmth, empathy, and care as she deeply values the therapeutic relationship. She is committed to creating a supportive and collaborative space where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to explore meaningful change. 

Ms. Tran is particularly passionate about working with children, teens, young adults, and immigrant families and areas including depression, anxiety, identity development, family dynamics, and life transitions. She is also passionate about conducting psychological evaluations with children, adolescents, and adults and has experience with assessments focused on cognitive, academic, personality, and mood concerns.

Educational and Career Background

Ms. Tran received her B.S. in psychology with a minor in human development and family studies at the University of Houston. Before entering her doctoral program, she worked as a research assistant at The Menninger Clinic, working with adults and adolescents in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Ms. Tran received her M.S. in psychology at the University of North Texas where she is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in counseling psychology with a child and family focus.

Ms. Tran has worked in a variety of clinical settings including an inpatient psychiatric hospital, community mental health clinic, and university counseling center. Within these settings, she provided individual therapy to adults, conducted brief and comprehensive cognitive, academic, and personality assessments to adolescents and adults, telehealth, and community outreach programming. Ms. Tran’s research focuses on parent-child relationships and family dynamics especially within immigrant families. Ms. Tran will be providing services on behalf of Great Life Counseling Center under the supervision of Dr. Heidi Ellis, Ph.D.
