Introducing Mr. Kranendonk

Jacob Kranendonk, M.S., is an advanced doctoral practicum fellow who provides a warm, encouraging, and empowering space to help clients navigate the sometimes seemingly overwhelming challenges they face. Mr. Kranendonk’s approach is founded on the principle that a meaningful life is the product of doing what matters most to us, even in the presence of unpleasant thoughts or feelings. He emphasizes taking a collaborative and empathetic approach to ensure that his clients feel heard and supported as they walk through each challenge together.

Educational and Career Background

Mr. Kranendonk received his B.S. in psychology at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, where he went onto also receive his M.S. in clinical psychology. Mr. Kranendonk is currently pursuing his PhD in counseling psychology at the University of North Texas. Across his education, Mr. Kranendonk has worked in a variety of settings including several community mental health clinics, a middle school, and a university counseling center. Within these settings, he provided individual therapy to adolescents, young adults, adults, and older adults, conducted personality, academic, and neurocognitive assessments, met with clients through telehealth, and participated and led in community outreach programs. Mr. Kranendonk will be providing services on behalf of Great Life Counseling Center under the supervision of Dr. Gabby Anderson, Ph.D.
