Introducing Ms. Murry

Ms. Kirsten Murry, M.A. is a practicum student clinician who enjoys helping individuals to overcome their difficulties and improve their overall well-being. Ms. Murry is committed to building a therapeutic relationship and creating an environment in which clients feel safe, valued, and comfortable. She welcomes clients of all backgrounds to discuss their concerns without judgment. She believes it is important to provide services that are empirically supported and culturally sensitive. Ms. Murry operates from a cognitive-behavioral approach to therapy, while incorporating values from a person-centered approach to treat various concerns, including anxiety, depression and life challenges.

Education and Career Background

Ms. Kirsten Murry, M.A. is currently pursuing a PsyD. in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology at the Dallas Campus. Ms. Murry’s area of focus is pediatric (child and adolescent) psychology. She completed her undergraduate degree from Xavier University of Louisiana where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Ms. Murry has experience in providing various psychological assessments to children and adults and has been trained to provide psychotherapy to clients of all ages. As a practicum student clinician, Ms. Murry will be providing services on behalf of Great Life Counseling Center under the clinical supervision of Kevin Lambert, Psy.D.
