Introducing Ms. Baker
Ms. Kimberly Baker, M.A. is a practicum student clinician who enjoys working with adolescents, young and middle-aged adults. Ms. Baker is committed to fostering a safe, positive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can feel comfortable discussing their concerns and achieve mental and emotional wellness. She believes every individual deserves to live a life of authenticity and purpose. Ms. Baker primarily employs cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) while integrating psychodynamic concepts to address various concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and life challenges. Ms. Baker collaborates with each client to establish a secure, trusting, and supportive therapeutic alliance. She motivates clients to face their fears and reclaim their lives.
Education and Career Background
Ms. Kimberly Baker, M.A. is pursuing a PsyD. in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology Dallas, Texas campus. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology with a minor in criminal justice from Alabama State University. Ms. Baker has experience working in a mental health agency providing psychotherapy to adults. As a doctoral level practicum student clinician, Ms. Baker will be providing services on behalf of Great Life Counseling Center under the clinical supervision of Kevin Lambert, Psy.D.
