At the age of 16, Dr. Lambert began his path towards counseling by becoming a Peer Educator for Planned Parenthood of Decatur, IL.\u00a0 Upon high school graduation, Dr. Lambert continued his pursuit of psychology at Illinois State University, where he earned a bachelor\u2019s degree in psychology with a minor in sociology in 1999. Dr. Lambert\u2019s educational journey continued at Spalding University\u2019s School of Professional Psychology, where he earned his M.A. &amp; Psy.D. degrees in Clinical Psychology in 2003 &amp; 2006. Dr. Lambert\u2019s professional experience includes a pre-doctoral fellowship at Salesmanship Club Youth &amp; Family Centers, Inc. (now known as Momentous Institute, Inc.), and an informal postdoctoral fellowship at Southern Methodist University\u2019s Memorial Health Center followed by nearly 10 years as a senior staff member &amp; supervisor.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>In Fall 2011, Dr. Lambert completed his MBA degree from SMU\u2019s Cox School of Business where he was recognized as a Distinguished Business Leader and member of the Dean\u2019s Circle. In January 2012, Dr. Lambert founded Lambert Psychology, PLLC, which has evolved into what is now known as Great Life Counseling Center. In addition to working on the development of his own organization, Dr. Lambert volunteered to serve on the board of directors for Galaxy Counseling Center for 2 years (Aug. 2010-April 2012) and the executive committee of the Dallas Psychological Association for 4 years (June 2012-May 2016).
