Introducing Ms. Smith
Ms. Mycah Smith, M.A. is a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate who aims to provide a supportive and collaborative experience for her clients. She is motivated to help her clients navigate the nuances and complexities of life with self-compassion and grit. Ms. Smith whole- heartedly values family and relationships and is determined to see them prosper. Ms. Smith’s approach to therapy is rooted in her belief that our perspective on life and relationships with others is based in what was modeled in our early life. Ms. Smith has been described by others as compassionate, energetic, determined and genuine.
Educational and Career Background
Ms. Smith completed her undergraduate education at the University of North Texas where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Shortly after, Ms. Smith continued her education at Amberton University where she completed her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. Prior to practicing therapy, Ms. Smith had several years of experience in corporate America in multiple industries. Since becoming a therapist, Ms. Smith has worked in private practice and community mental health settings serving clients of various backgrounds. Ms. Smith will be providing clinical services on behalf of Great Life Counseling Center under the primary clinical supervision of Joyce Miles Jacquote, M.S., LMFT Supervisor, LCDC and onsite supervision of Dr. Kevin C. Lambert, Psy.D., MBA.
