Introducing Ms. Duplechain,
Ms. Sydney Duplechain, M.A. is an advanced doctoral practicum student who provides an encouraging, kind, and positive environment to help her clients face their challenges head on and enhance their life as a result. Ms. Duplechain’s approach is grounded in the belief that changing the way we think about our relationships, past experiences, present issues, and future endeavors, allows us to gain insight into our emotions and behaviors, and positions us to make choices that will improve our lives overall.
Ms. Duplechain provides individual and couples psychotherapy for all ages. She is also passionate about conducting psychological evaluations with adults and has experience with neurocognitive, personality, and mood concerns. Ms. Duplechain has experience with a variety of presenting concerns including chronic illness, grief, stress, anxiety, depression, rehabilitation, caregiver issues, life transitions, relational issues, and adjustment concerns.
Educational and Career Background
Ms. Duplechain received her B.S. in biological science from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana and her M.A. in clinical psychology from The Chicago School, Dallas Campus. Ms. Duplechain has worked in various settings, including a community mental health non-profit organization, a college counseling clinic, and private practice. Within these settings, she has provided individual psychotherapy to young adults, adults, and older adults, couples therapy, group therapy, comprehensive neurocognitive, academic, and personality assessments, telehealth, and outreach programming. Ms. Duplechain will be providing services on behalf of Great Life Counseling Center under the supervision of Dr. Kevin C. Lambert, Psy.D., MBA.
