Introducing Mr. Graves

Mr. Nagee Graves, M.A. is an LPC-A Fellow who is dedicated to expanding access to quality counseling and empowering clients to bridge the gap between mental health and emotional intelligence. With a passion for motivating youth, he focuses on fostering positive interactions that enhance well-being and academic success.

Utilizing a client-centered approach, Mr. Graves emphasizes the significance of social connections in promoting mental health. By building strong therapeutic relationships, he facilitates a deeper dialogue that nurtures self-awareness and emotional growth. His expertise includes working with adolescents, supporting the LGBTQ+ community, and navigating family systems. Mr. Graves is committed to uplifting youth through mentorship and community service.

Educational and Career Background

Mr. Graves earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Morehouse College and his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School (formerly The Chicago School of Professional Psychology). During his tenure at Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas, he served as a clinical intern and intake coordinator, providing adolescent & adult individual psychotherapy, family therapy, and co-leading small groups. His experience as a substitute teacher at Kathlyn Joy Gilliam Collegiate Academy allowed him to mentor students and foster a supportive learning environment. Mr. Graves will be providing clinical services on behalf of Great Life Counseling Center under the primary clinical supervision of DeWone Bennett, Psy.D., LPC-S, and the onsite supervision of Dr. Kevin C. Lambert, Psy.D., MBA.
