Introducing Mr. Bass

Mr. Willie D. Bass, M.S. is a practicum student clinician who enjoys working with adolescents, young adults, and families and conducting psychological assessments. Mr. Bass values the development of a solid therapeutic relationship and prioritizes the safety and authenticity of his clients to ensure they feel comfortable reflecting, gaining insight, and self-exploring. Mr. Bass primarily uses a cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) approach but has experience using dialectic behavioral therapy (DBT), psychodynamic, interpersonal, and solution focus theories to treat various concerns, including anxiety, depression, identity issues, adjustment, family/social concerns, and trauma.

Educational and Career Background

Mr. Willie D. Bass, M.S. is currently pursuing a PsyD.in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) – Dallas, Texas Campus. He earned a B.S. in biology with a minor in psychology from Iowa State University and a master’s in Pathologists’ Assistant (MS) from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. Mr. Bass has worked in a college counseling center providing individual psychotherapy and group therapy to young adults for various presenting concerns. As a practicum student clinician, Mr. Bass will be providing services under the supervision of Dr. Kevin Lambert.
